Things we need to do in the New Year

I started this subject because of the existing condition of the AMERICAN FLAG  that lays tattered and torn over the American Legion Post 293 in Purcellville.  What a disgrace, have they forgotten what the legion stands for.  I have tried to contact an offical, and mentioned it to a couple legion members, but nothing postive has happened yet. So if enough of us complain, maybe they will retire that flag honoralbly and put up a new one.   Thanks

JMO, perhaps as a way to show honor to the members of the Maerican Legion, you can buy them a new flag and offer the old one to the P'ville Boy Scout troop who will honorably retire the old flag.  Might be a more positive approach...

I used to belong to that post but dropped out a few years back. I passed along the message to a post member. Hopefully something will be done.
